Who Is Sallie Bly?

Sandra Kay Felner

BIO

Born and raised in Texas, a "genuine" Texan.  She has lived in the Dallas area for 22 years with her husband and daughter and her two dogs.

Sandra has studied and is certified in silver metal clay under a master jeweler, Patricia Walton, of Utah.

Sandra has also studied silver metal clay under senior and artist Sallie Bly of Grand Prairie, Texas.  Sandra has studied the Lost wax process, but prefers silver metal clay because each piece of work is original and unique.  She has also studied glass fusing and enameling which she combines with the silver metal clay.  Sandra's work reflects her love of nature, God's wonderful and beautiful creations.

Artist Statement

I have always loved nature and the fresh outdoors.  God inspires me to capture the beauty and the uniqueness of his creation in the form of art.  Sometimes God's sense of humor makes me laugh and I strive to bring the same smile and Laughter to others through my art.
